Oh, my passion for the old west. I've always have wanted to write a more modern western movie. A vision of a dark muted landscape, the rough and unkept terrain. The old homestead falling apart, where you can hear the Western prairie wind blowing in between the slats of pine , held together by old rusty nails. Tall prairie grass blowing a path for a rider and her strong companion. Searching for her mission in life, love and the pursuit of happiness.

Above is the story behind my art piece called "Searching." As an artist of mixed media I'm always searching, searching for the next creative outlet. Do I get a creative block? Who doesn't! More or less I go with the flow and of course life happens! So, my new creative adventure is going be blogging my art. As of now, I'm taking a course on-line "Writing With Confidence: Writing Beginner To Writing Pro". So, I will be interested in hearing feedback.
